排泥閥的適用介質(zhì)為原生污水，介質(zhì)的溫度一般應(yīng)小于50℃，其工作水深小于10米。排泥閥也用于水處理工廠做為排放水池內(nèi)的污泥及廢水。排泥閥為角型結(jié)構(gòu)，內(nèi)部的尼龍強化橡膠隔膜，可供長期使用排泥閥。

排泥閥一般有以下結(jié)構(gòu)特點：

閥蓋自帶螺桿，水深度淺時可直接用手柄操作；閥板成錐拱形，自帶導(dǎo)向，開啟操作力??；螺桿及密封面采用錫青銅，耐腐、耐磨?？膳c手電兩用啟閉機配套使用進行微機控制。

膜片式液壓、氣動快開排泥閥一般有液壓排泥閥和氣動角式排泥閥兩種。該閥的主要特點是采用雙室隔膜傳動機構(gòu)替代活塞式，無運動磨損。排泥閥由液壓缸和角式截止閥組合而成，液壓缸內(nèi)動力帶動瓣升降，使閥體通道開或閉，以達到流體通斷。

液壓缸的活塞密封件為L型皮碗。閥瓣與閥座為軟密封。排泥閥采用液動、氣動角式快開排泥閥或手動二位四通換向閥集中控制。
